Job Description
The responsibilities of the Senior Manager of Regulatory are
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Strategy Development: Develop and execute regulatory strategies to ensure the timely and compliant introduction of new products to the market.
Compliance Oversight: Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations, cosmetic and personal care product regulations, and international standards.
Product Registration: Prepare and submit product registrations, notifications, and submissions to regulatory authorities as required.
Labeling and Claims: Review and approve product labeling, packaging, and advertising materials to ensure they meet regulatory standards and do not make unsubstantiated claims.
Ingredient Assessment: Conduct ingredient safety assessments and stay updated on the safety profiles of all ingredients used in the brand's products.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain quality standards and ensure product safety and efficacy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, marketing, manufacturing, and legal departments to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product development process.
Regulatory Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date regulatory documentation, including product formulation records, safety assessments, and regulatory submissions.
Regulatory Training: Provide regulatory training to relevant staff members and ensure regulatory knowledge is up to date across the organization.
Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about changes in the regulatory landscape, industry trends, and emerging regulations that may impact the personal care industry.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of regulatory professionals, setting goals, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Manager of Regulatory for a contract manufacturer candidate must have
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, biology, regulatory affairs).
Extensive experience in regulatory affairs, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, cosmetics regulations, and international regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of product safety and efficacy assessments.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and industry trends.
Proficiency in regulatory software and tools.
