Position Summary and Duties | Admission Operations • Assist in managing the ongoing implementation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of Slate in order to provide comprehensive, long-term solutions. • Assist in increasing efficiencies of application processing and daily operations, including implementing new Slate functionality, database testing, and supporting new technology initiatives. • Work with the Undergraduate Admission team to manage various processes, including file reading, scholarship awarding, recruitment travel, event management, decision release, international/transfer student recruitment, athletic recruitment, and non-degree students. • Assist with Cycle Prep, an annual process which prepares Slate for the next admission cycle. The process begins in mid-March and continues until mid-August; it primarily entails auditing and updating Slate and the Common Application to ensure processes are efficient and able to accept information for the new application cycle. • Create, edit and audit new and existing queries, and reports.
Enrollment Data and Analytics • Manage data and records in Slate as it relates to prospective students, applicants, organizations, organization contacts, community-based organizations, alumni volunteers, and student ambassadors. • Create import and export source formatting for Slate, including bringing in data from various Enrollment Management vendors. • Maintain and execute annual retention policies as directed by the Undergraduate Enrollment Operations Director. • Work with the Assistant Director of Enrollment Data to manage data integration between Slate and Workday, including creating and managing source configuration, and creating and scheduling document exports for downstream offices. • Maintain data integrity by developing and performing regular comprehensive data audits and clean-up projects.
Student Search & Prospect Management • Develop source formats and maintain purchased list/Search data that will include 400,000+ prospect records annually. • Develop queries and reports that show prospect-to-inquiry conversion to help evaluate the value and effectiveness of vendors and purchased lists. • Assist with building portals for all funnel populations including prospects, inquiries, and applicants. • Build, test, update Slate forms and associated communication flow.
Enrollment Management • Act as liaison between Enrollment Management and various departments on campus who utilize Slate for their operation. • Co-manage internal and external Slate user accounts and permissions in Slate. • Establish and lead a local Slate user group under the direction of the Director of Undergraduate Enrollment Operations and Analytics. • Coordinate regular Slate training sessions with internal and external constituents. • Work closely with Financial Aid, the Office of Technology Services, and campus vendors to develop data security standards for Enrollment Management. These standards should be in compliance with various institutional and regulatory requirements such as FERPA. |
