Founded in 1923 and located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the Fremont Union High School District is consistently recognized as one of the most respected and highest performing high school districts in California. Our five comprehensive high schools - Cupertino, Fremont, Homestead, Lynbrook, and Monta Vista, as well as our Adult School - have garnered many honors and accolades based on the outstanding achievement of our students and District programs designed to support their success. Under the general direction of the Chief Business Officer/Associate Superintendent or designee, the Manager of Finance will: plan, organize, supervise, and carry out specific functions of accounting and financial record keeping in the Business Office; provide direction to specified service units, such as the Accounts Payable and Purchasing departments; carry out central financial record keeping including revenue and expenditure reports; and perform or supervise the conduct of special studies. They will understand and work effectively with people from different cultures.
