The Lead Systems Operations Engineer will provide production application support for trading applications and systems and day to day trading activity for the Equities desks. The position requires technical problem solving skills and the ability to communicate progress clearly. The candidate must be able to work within a high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Implement automation to reduce manual toil and drive improved efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2 + years of FIX protocol (Financial Information eXchange) experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services
- 5+ years of Linux experience
- 5+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
- 3 + years of experience implementing, supporting or developing tools to integrate with ITRS Geneos
- 3+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL
- 3+ years of Autosys experience
- Experience with Flextrade Order Management Systems (OMS) or Fidessa
- Knowledge and understanding of capital markets: front office technology and systems

$115,900.00 - $206,100.00
