Job Description

This position will support two initiatives of the Penn Implementation Science Center. The first initiative is Penn’s Achieving Maternal Equity and Transforming Health through Implementation Science and Training (AMETHIST@Penn) Hub. Adequate staffing is needed to support continued safe and efficient operation of the research center’s complex operations providing consultation and technical assistance to 12 NIH-funded IMPROVE Maternal Health Research Centers of Excellence. This robust Hub is staffed by Project Managers and Program Coordinators who execute the day-to-day activities of the Hub’s 5 complementary Cores (Administration and Leadership; Equity, Community, and Stakeholder Engagement; Design and Analysis; Policy, Communication, and Dissemination; and Training and Capacity Building). Current staff are working at full capacity and are unable to take on additional responsibilities, thus new positions need to be created.  The second initiative is an annual virtual training bootcamp called the Implementation Science Institute (ISI).  The ISI requires staff to assist with coordination and management of the program. The Project Manager A will report to the PISCE Managing Director, Meghan Lockman.    

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Targeted Pay Range: $70,958-$78,231

This Targeted Pay Range is only applicable to this job posting. All salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.

Responsibilities:

Oversee organization and documentation of Core activities, including contacts with IMPROVE Research Centers of Excellence and other IMPROVE investigators; ensuring CoEs receive the support they need to complete proposed implementation research.

Oversee AMETHIST@Penn meetings, workshops, and seminars.

Coordinate AMETHIST@Penn interactions with NICHD staff, other NIH staff, and the DIC hub.

Coordinate and manage the Implementation Science Institute.
