The Department of Dermatology is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking and experienced administrative professional to join our team as an Administrative Associate 2. The Department of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine is a premier department who is committed to the highest level of patient care, as well as the discovery and development of better treatments for dermatologic diseases, and training the next generation of Dermatologists. This position will be the first line of contact responsible for providing administrative support for multiple department faculty members as well as other general administrative duties and tasks.
This position will report to the Associate Director of Finance and Administration. This position is a hybrid position (on-site at the Stanford Redwood City Campus 2-3 days a week, and telecommuting the other 2-3 days a week), subject to operational needs.

- Knowledge of Stanford University policies, procedures and organizational structure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are essential.
- Strong teamwork skills – Experience in developing and maintaining professional working relationships, and ability to collaborate well with administrative colleagues and peers.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
High school diploma and three years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
- Demonstrated success in following through and completing routine tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl.

The expected pay range for this position is $27.40 to $37.02 per annum/hour. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position.
