We are seeking a motivated and skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for a 5-month hybrid contract with a possibility for conversion. The chosen candidate will assist in performance tuning, collaborate with development teams for service improvement, and create sustainable systems through automation. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on balancing speed of development and reliability.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze metrics from operating systems and applications for performance tuning and fault diagnosis.
Improve services by collaborating with development teams and enforcing rigorous testing and release procedures.
Provide system design consulting, manage platforms, and plan for capacity.
Employ automation to build sustainable systems and services.
Ensure service reliability while meeting well-defined service-level objectives.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficient in Linux systems administration (Ubuntu and RHEL).
Experienced with Ansible automation and managing unstructured storage solutions.
Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and navigating diverse cloud platforms is essential.
