About the Opportunity
We are thrilled to announce a dynamic opening within our Sales Team for a Move-In Coordinator (MIC). This vital role offers the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our new residents, guiding them from their initial decision to join our community through to their successful transition into residential life. At Goodwin Living, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, supportive environment for our residents, and the MIC is at the heart of this mission. You'll collaborate closely with the Goodwin Living Sales Team, various departments, and external partners to ensure a seamless and positive move-in experience for all.
Key Aspects of the Position
- End-to-End Coordination: From pre-residency assessments to move-in day, you'll be the go-to contact for new residents, ensuring every step is handled with care.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work alongside the Sales, Project Management, and Social Work departments to prepare apartments and facilitate transitions within our living options.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with movers, furniture delivery companies, and other external vendors to guarantee smooth operations and a stress-free move for new residents.
- Documentation and Reporting: Manage critical paperwork and update systems like Matrixcare and Salesforce, keeping occupancy and resident records meticulous.
- Community Engagement: Play a key role in organizing and executing sales and marketing events, enhancing the communal spirit of Goodwin Living.
Job Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, sales-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication abilities, capable of building trust with older adults and their networks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management tools, with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
- A minimum of three years in a professional setting, with a preference for experience in customer service or with older populations.
- A collaborative, customer-focused mindset, ready to interact with various stakeholders and ensure a warm welcome for all new residents.
