The Boeing Company is looking for an ESPC Utilities Senior Manager (Virtual)to join the Enterprise Software Products and Capabilities Utilities and Tools team located Long Beach, CA across the US and the globe. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Enterprise Software Engineering and all Boeing Business Divisions.
As part of the Boeing Enterprise Software Products and Capabilities (ESPC) Utilities and Tools team this position will manage the resources, budgets, schedules, and performance of multiple globally distributed software development teams responsible for the architecture, development, deployment, and certification of cloud-based software applications used across the Boeing divisions. Applications developed are designed to be flexible, robust, modern, and maintainable to support software development teams of large aircraft platforms and smaller more nimble development lifecycles.
This position will also manage the successful regulatory, safety and security approvals such as DO-330 tool qualification for the FAA, government contract requirements and internal Boeing safety and security requirements.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience cloud native applications
- 3+ years of experience microservices architecture software applications
- Prior experience with DO-330 qualification of software applications
- Experience with developing and debugging in Python, Java, C/C++ or equivalent programming languages.
