The Opportunity
The Change Lead mission is to partner with the I&T Business Partner and I&T partners to understand OCM needs and potential opportunities. The Change Lead will develop expertise in the area(s) they support including the end-user experience, how to increase successful employee adoption and influence value realization for new programs. You will deliver and embed organizational change management (OCM) practices into the area(s) under their responsibility to achieve desired goals and empowering key stakeholders to implement and deliver change management.
The Role
Manage assigned business area portfolio of I&T OCM demand, working with the Head of OCM on assessing and scoping demand related to the area they support, including assessment of change complexity and associated resourcing.
Oversee the development of OCM strategies for large and medium complexity demands within the supported business area(s) OCM portfolio.
Employs creative, thinking to tell the story of the initiative to the I&T Business Partner and team leads informed by data collection and qualitative analysis.
Define general change strategy and plan, establishes ways of working with internal and external teams and elevates risks to Head of OCM and Program/Project Managers within the program governance framework.
Partner with external OCM vendors to lead ongoing change activities to promote the our vision with a benefits framework that links the use of change to successful outcomes. Define important performance indictors and other measures, as applicable, to understand programmatic impact across projects.
Partner with external OCM vendors to oversee delivery of all change activities within the business area(s) OCM portfolio to lead a collaborative, multi-faceted approach to change and harness the appropriate levers to improve adoption. Lead effort to produce and communicate leadership partner engagement plans for the entire OCM portfolio for the assigned business area(s) including briefings, outreach materials, and other correspondence.
Confirm deliverables, resource needs, and work plans on new assignments across their department.
Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.
8+ years' experience in Change Management, Communications, Human Resources or Project Management.
Experience leading medium scale change programs using change management fundamentals and methodologies.
Expertise in project management and continuous improvement processes.
Experience working in an IT environment is a plus.
