About Our Client

Our client, a leading drywall and masonry contractor based in Beltsville, MD, is seeking a skilled Drywall Estimator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drywall estimating, including proficiency in onscreen takeoff software and a proven track record with large-scale projects such as universities.

Prepare accurate drywall estimates for a variety of large-scale projects.
Utilize onscreen takeoff software to perform detailed quantity takeoffs.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop thorough and competitive estimates.
Stay current with industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies to ensure accurate pricing and budgeting.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of estimating procedures and standards.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum of 3 years of experience in drywall estimating.
Proficiency with onscreen takeoff software.
Experience with large-scale projects, particularly universities, is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Base Salary: 85,000-105,000 (depending on expereince)
