JOB PURPOSE
Develops and maintains course curricula and supporting training materials for assigned application to include integration of policies, procedures and Epic system functionality into the tools. Builds, tests, and maintains the training environment and planning and overseeing the day to day activities of the assigned application team. Trains super users and credentialed trainers as well as end users and new staff. In conjunction with the Training Manager and Learning Coordinator, develops the training schedule pertaining to assigned application. Participates in the design, build, validation, testing and implementation of the assigned application.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Minimum: Associates degree/Diploma in education, instructional design, computer sciences, information systems or health care related field. OR The equivalent of 4 years of progressively responsible work experience with an emphasis in education, instructional design and/or clinical computer applications. A combination of education and experience, may be substituted for a degree.
Preferred: Bachelors degree in education, instructional design, computer sciences, information systems or a health care related field. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or a combination of Associate's degree in Nursing and experience, for the Clin Doc and Optime Instructional Designer.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Minimum: Epic certification must be obtained within 3 months after completing training Preferred: License or certification in related clinical field or information systems TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Minimum: Knowledge of web based learning, instructional design models with the ability to design print materials conducive to disparate learning styles. Ability to use audiovisual equipment and apply the use of multimedia in presentations. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Visio, SnagIT and Microsoft office tools. Proven skills as an instructor/presenter and group facilitator, team player and leader skilled in group facilitation.

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum: 5 years of adult education, corporate training or k-12 through post-secondary education teaching experience, or experience in a clinical or business area related to the CottageOne application they will certify in; this must include 3 years of education/training responsibilities.
