Examples of Duties
Job Purpose Under the supervision of the Blueprint Project Manager, your role entails developing and implementing Blueprint initiatives in collaboration with Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS), the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC), and Workforce Development Business Partners.
Essential Job Duties
Provide essential support to the Blueprint Program Manager by ensuring development of and adherence to policies, procedures, and programmatic requirements.
Facilitate daily program coordination to offer comprehensive assistance, enabling the Program Manager to maintain full oversight and execute the program successfully.
Assist with developing and managing content for Blueprint Newsletter and collaborate with the Communications/Marketing team to handle content distribution through various channels such as media relations and social media.
Collaborate with the Blueprint team and the Department of Employment and Workforce Development (DEWD) to ensure effective utilization of resources and funds, aligning with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Assist in preparing, updating, and revising Blueprint documents.
Maintain compliance with all state and local laws, policies, and requirements.
Collaborate with the Program Manager, local businesses, CCBC, and BCPS to establish comprehensive project and program timelines, as well as to design and implement effective processes and procedures.
Coordinates and adheres to timelines for responding to MSDE, AIB, BCG and any other state and local reporting requirements, inquiries, and continuous monitoring.
Spearhead the creation, organization, and facilitation of onboarding and training materials, professional development and training sessions for Youth Workforce Coordinators.
Lead regular instructional sessions for BCPS Blueprint staff to guarantee their familiarity with and effective use of essential resources for executing the Blueprint initiative within BCPS.
Provide support in identifying, collecting, and analyzing data metrics related to Blueprint and internal and external partners including.
Assess the effectiveness of the Blueprint initiatives within DEWD.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree, in education, social work, school counseling or a related field.
Experience coordinating programs and/or support to schools and/or in the community with internal and external agencies.
Three-years of coordination experience, one year of which was providing program management support to a key administrator and providing supervision to team members.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Video Conferencing.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience with county government or in the K-12 school system
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external constituents.
Coordinate, assign, and review the work of others.
Ability to establish deadlines, create project schedules, and guidelines for completion of various tasks.
Demonstration of strong leadership and positive group collaboration skills.

Proven ability to understand and interpret policies and procedure and handle sensitive and confidential information.

Conditions of Employment
Employees hired after July 1, 2022 are required to participate in the Baltimore County Employees’ Retirement System, with very limited exceptions.
Physical and Environmental Conditions The work of this classification is primarily sedentary, with occasional walking, lifting, and other restricted physical activities. Duties will include travel between work sites.
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
