Overview
The Systems Administrator is responsible for assisting with the administration of all aspects of the credit union’s servers and installed applications. Ensures server/client software is installed and deployed as required. Responsible to uphold and abide by Frontwave’s core values and service expectations.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures.
Performs reoccurring tasks including but not limited to verifying backups, patching and upgrading applications and servers, and generating reports and logs. Automates the installation and upgrade of applications used through the organization, using tools such as PowerShell, command line, Pdq Deploy or other system deployment applications.
Familiar with virtualization technology and able to perform simple tasks such as modifying virtual hardware of a VM, building a new virtual server, creating and restoring snapshots, and archiving of virtual machine using templates.
Administer several key Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, WDS/MDT, WSUS.
Manage and operate several Windows operating systems including Windows 10, windows 11, Server 2016 and 2019. Some experience with Linux operating systems a plus.
Perform basic networking tasks including but not limited to port security and network troubleshooting.
Performs routine audits of systems and software.
Perorms backup and replication tasks showing familiarity with the technology and terms.
Adds, removes, and updates user account information, profiles, and associated rights
Deploys and enforces security policies and procedures.
Assist helpdesk with call overflow and system administrator support utilizing ticketing system to track downtime, actions taken and resolution.
Develops, maintains, and ensures accuracy of manuals, procedures, and network diagrams.
Maintains various inventory of applications, server hardware and networking equipment.
Performs projects in a timely manner with the direction and supervision of senior IT staff.
Proactively suggests and implements improvements in department procedures and processes.
Available to work nights and weekends as required for support, maintenance, or emergency duties.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
One year experience as a Systems Administrator, or Information Systems experience with increasing responsibilities leading up to a System Administrators position, or Bachelor's degree or equivalent training from a technical school with emphasis in computer information systems or combination of experience and education.
Salary Range: $29.03/hr - $43.54/hr
Position Certifications/Licenses:
Must possess a current, valid driver’s license. May be required to operate privately owned or credit union vehicle to and from assigned locations.
CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate desired.
