Data Entry

Shift/Hours: Monday -Friday, Part time, Rotating HRS (ex. 10am-1pm, 2pm-7pm, etc)

Experience: 3-5 years

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr, depending on experience 

Location: Columbia, MD 21227

PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, is working with an Autism Waiver Provider agency that primarily works with children with Autism and their families. The agency is currently looking for a dedicated data entry candidate to service their company for the summer time. Data Entry responsibilities include:

• Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards.
• Type in data and client information as provided.
• Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes.
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents and client files.
• Update existing data.
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
• Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
• Organize and file all completed files inside of the client’s folders upon completion of the 

Data Entry Clerk requirements include:

• Proven experience as data entry clerk.
• Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
• Basic understanding of databases.
• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.
• Great attention to detail
