CAPS is dedicated to helping students develop greater self-understanding, identify and solve problems, and improve academic performance through the alleviation of psychological, emotional, and cognitive barriers.
Job Overview
The Staff Clinician & Coordinator of Outreach Services oversees and advises Lighthouse, Georgetown University’s peer support group.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage outreach requests
- Create and facilitate signature preventative outreach programming on behalf of CAPS to the campus community
- Streamline materials for standard UCC outreach - such as stress management
- Liaise with University offices in case of specific outreach requests
Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation
The Staff Clinician & Coordinator of Outreach Services interacts with students and with other University offices.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psych licensed or license eligible in the District within one year of hire
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Licensed Professional Counselor licensed at the start of hire
Preferred Qualification
Experience in a UCC and/or outreach programming
