Career Title: RN Certification Analyst. Department: ANCC Certification. Salary Hiring Range: $65,000-80,000 annually (paid bi-weekly)FLSA- Exempt. Union Dues: 1.44% of your bi-weekly pay.

Assessment of eligibility includes but is not limi... more detailsted to analyzing information submitted via the initial application, reviewing all transcripts and validation of education, evaluating licensure, and evaluating program accreditation. The analyst conducts analysis of all materials to assess potential gaps requiring clarification and/or submission of additional documentation. The analyst communicates with applicants to ensure all materials submitted meet accreditation requirements. The analyst also provides counseling to nurses regarding meeting eligibility requirements, renewal requirements, and review of exam results when candidates have questions. The analyst audits documents submitted to demonstrate compliance with renewal requirements have been met. The analyst collaborates with Certification Associates to gather required documents and to request additional documents as needed from applicants. The analyst escalates complex issues to the Senior Certification Analyst as needed. The analyst represents the Certification Program at events including conferences to promote ANCC board certifications. Education: Current Registered Nurse License, required. Baccalaureate in Nursing, or equivalent work experience, required.
Skills:
- 4 years nursing experience- Registered nurse work experience (clinical or education) - Experience working with databases, including data entry- Prior experience in conducting quality audits or credentialing desired- Excellent written and verbal communication- High attention to detail- Critical thinking/analytic skills- Skills in crisis management and/or de-escalating issues helpful- Competent user of Microsoft Office products- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Ability to travel, with occasional overnight stays and weekends (anticipated to be up to three times/year for tradeshows and/or conferences)
Preferred Skills
& Experience: Primarily responsible for reviewing individual certification and recertification applications to ensure current eligibility requirements are met. This includes detailed review and analysis of supporting documentation, such as transcripts and validation of education forms, and verification of registered nurse licenses. Refers applications to Senior Nurse Registrar, as necessary. Communicates with applicants and faculty to clarify items submitted for certification and recertification when requirements are not met. Represents ANCC at exhibits and conferences, upon request. Work Schedule: Hybrid employees must work a minimum of 20% in the office.
