Primary Responsibilities:
- Own the deliverable process, crafting and editing the process as needed and obtaining leadership approval
- Supervise and Manage the Deliverables support staff to include cross-matrixed staff - Direct workload assignments, prioritizing as needed and reviewing work content for accuracy and quality, performance reviews, issue resolution, training. Forecasts and plans resource requirements
- Own written documentation and training of the process and approved templates (Leadership, SMEs, Deliverables Team, Editing Team)
- Advanced skills in communications, compliance, controlling project timelines and resources, assessing, managing, and reporting on project risks and issues, and quality control, and presenting to Leadership and Government clients
- Manage contract changes for deliverable impacts: Review contract mods for impacts to deliverables, participate in VA calls and assist in crafting of mods. Connect with business owners for alignment on changes in requirements to ensure compliance
- Escalates contract mod and requirement Issues/Risks to Leadership
- Provide Leadership with entire Program view of deliverable activity & performance report
- Tracks Program metrics for acceptance rates, on time submissions, and VA response dates
- Escalates Issues/Risks to program leadership
- Ensure Subcontractor SOWs include deliverable response requirements where applicable and set parameters to meet Optum prime contract requirements to the VA. Coordinate with Optum Contracts and Vendor Management teams
- Manage subcontractor deliverable response matrix w/coordination w Vendor Mgt. Confirm acceptance of Subcontractor deliverable responses w/ Business Owner and Vendor Management
- Mitigate risks and resolve issues when applicable

Required Qualifications:
- PMP certification
- 3+ years experience in program management or deliverables management
- Experience facilitating and negotiating consensus around project and/or product goals
- Experience identifying and helping solve problems that impact the management and direction of the business
- Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Microsoft Project or equivalent project software
- Demonstrated ability to balance projects of varying complexity simultaneously
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance, if required
Preferred qualifications:
- Track record of success in supporting delivery of large scale, complex federal programs and the corresponding knowledge of federal contracting requirements (i.e., CAS, FAR, FISMA, SCA)
- Previous work within the VA or DoD community
- Demonstrated facilitation and project management experience for complex technical projects or programs such as experience with large scale technology implementation projects including custom software development and/or third-party software integrations
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, including solid presentation skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
