DESCRIPTION
This position will be responsible for Sales Operations and Business analysis for the Public Sector Partners team within the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Sales Operations organization. This will be a pivotal role that enables you to have significant business impact through your direct involvement in customer financial modeling, reporting, forecasting, data quality and operations support.
You will assist in the formalization of the financial and business reporting for a Business vertical within the Worldwide Public Sector. You will be establishing dashboards, operational metrics, reports, and standard operating procedures to support the rapid growth of the AWS public sector business.
You will work in collaboration and coordination with Sales Directors, account and service teams, corporate finance. You will work with legal and compliance teams to ensure full compliance of government and Amazon policies, as well as evaluation and recommendation of new ways of conducting business that can help accelerate growth.
You should have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. You should be able to build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage aspects of Worldwide Public Sector financial reporting and analysis for a Business vertical ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of reporting
- Develop metrics and reports to manage sales pipeline, billed revenue and quota attainment
- Develop performance dashboards that encompass key metrics to be reviewed with senior Sales Directors and WWPS leadership team in order to drive and manage the business
- Coordinate with corporate teams to influence roadmap for enhanced business intelligence and CRM tools to support the business.
- Work with territory planning, segmentation & quota development
- Assist in the creation and management of process documentation, headcount tracking, and management
- Help WWPS Operations balance short term tactical goals with long term strategies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
