Assign Daily Work to Maintenance Mechanics & Assist in Organizing & Expediting Completion of Work
Take Inventory of Maintenance Supplies, Tools, & Prepare Ordering Information For Purchasing
Visual Inspection of Maintenance Jobs in Progress & Upon Completion to Ensure That Quality Standards Are Met
Direct, Organize & Schedule Preventive Maintenance & Lubrication on Production Machinery & Other Plant Equipment & Facilities in Accordance With The Preventative Maintenance Program
Build & Install New Equipment For Plant Improvements Projects & Manke New Tooling & Equipment For Replacement of Worn-Out Items
Repair Broken or Defective Equipment as Scheduled or Needed
Assist Production Personnel With Mechanical, Electrical or Other Operational Problems With Plant Equipment
Coordinate, Schedule, & Assist in Performance of Emergency Maintenance Work on a Rush Basis When Production is Adversely Affected of Directed by Maintenance Supervisor
Maintain Preventative Maintenance, Tools, Parts & Training Records & Prepare Status Reports as Needed
Assist The Maintenance Supervisor in Training & Orientation of Maintenance Mechanic Employees
Attend Training Programs or Sessions to Improve Skills
Inform Supervisor of Needed Parts or Equipment Including Training Needs & Requirements
Keep Work Area & Equipment Clean in Proper Working Conditions at All Times
Keep Solid Attendance & Punctuality
Clearly Communicate With Team Members & Management
Must Adhere to All Safety & PPE Requirements
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
High School Diploma Required
Technical Certification or relevant Trade Qualifications Preferred
8+ Years of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Experience Required
Previous Supervisor Lead Experience in the Maintenance field Required
Strong Knowledge of PLC’s, Manufacturing Equipment, Machinery & Systems
Strong Experience Working With 480v & Higher Equipment
Proficient in Diagnosing Mechanical, Electrical & Pneumatic Equipment
Ability to Read & Interpret Technical Manuals, Schematics & Blueprints
Excellent Organizational, Leadership & Problem Solving Skills
Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills
