Job Description
We are seeking an HRIS Manager to join a client in Fremont. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Start time can be flexibile and earlier if preferred. THis is a full-time direct hire position.
Lead the implementation of new HRIS systems or modules, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and user requirements.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to customize and integrate HRIS solutions with existing systems and applications.
Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS platform, managing user access, permissions, and security settings.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to best practices.
Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of HR data to support strategic decision-making and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Develop and maintain standardized reports and dashboards to provide insights into key HR metrics, trends, and patterns.
Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and workflows through automation and system enhancements.
Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient solutions that improve productivity and enhance the employee experience.
Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on the use of HRIS tools, features, and functionality.
Develop and maintain user documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources to facilitate self-service and ongoing learning.
Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to HR data management and privacy.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal data governance policies through effective controls and safeguards.
Oversees Onboarding employees into the HRIS and Time and Attendance systems and ensures onboarding forms are compliant with federal, state and local regulations.
Oversees data/system processing of promotions, transfers and terminations.
Assists migration to a unified HRIS if required.
Responsible for hiring, developing and training HRIS team members.
Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources OR a combination of successful equivalent related experience
Extensive knowledge of the HRIS and payroll function.
4+ years of experience as a HRIS, Payroll Manager or equivalent
Proficient with ADP HRIS software.
Advanced knowledge in general payroll and tax rules, regulations and processes.
Working knowledge of Federal and State payroll policies, including FLSA laws, overtime and termination regulations for multi-state jurisdictions.
In-depth knowledge of HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and related technologies.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong analytical skills, problem solving and execution skills.
Strong interpersonal skill related to interacting with users and professionally resolving issues.
Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively resolve issues with HR, employees, Legal, etc. while sustaining a high level of confidentiality inherent to Payroll and HR matters.
Proven ability to work in an organized manner with the ability to manage time effectively to meet strict deadlines, at times handling multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining proper prioritization.
