Job Summary:
The analyst for performance analytics will play a critical role in the financial operations and reporting of St. Johns Episcopal Hospital and subsidiaries. This position will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating performance metrics and data to support strategic decision-making and drive operational improvements. This role primarily focuses on assessing the performance of various business functions, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilize data analysis tools, and employ statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Responsibilities:
Prepare regular performance reports, presentations, and executive summaries to highlight key findings and recommendations
Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives and action plans for cross-functional teams and collaborate to understand their reporting needs and provide customized performance reports
Collect, compile, and analyze performance data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and business intelligence tools
Identify relevant performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) based on business goals and objectives, and monitor performance trends and track KPIs in real-time to identify potential issues and opportunities
Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in performance data
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity by conducting regular data quality checks and validations and Identify and resolve data discrepancies or anomalies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business analytics, Business, Statistics, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar software preferred
