Job Abstract

The Physician Assistant will provide efficient, high-quality care to patients. The Physician Assistant will care for follow-up patients, perform minor procedures, manage inbasket messages and assist physicians in the operating room.

The home-base for this position is the state-of-the-art Wayne and Gladys Valley Center for Vision, located on UCSF’s Mission Bay Campus.

Please note: An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.

For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

• Previous experience in Oculoplastics.

• Minimum two (2) years' work experience as a physician assistant.

• Minimum five (5) years' work experience as a physician assistant.
