Job Abstract

Our client is looking for a 3rd shift QA Technician for a full time, onsite position in Somerset, New Jersey.

QA Technician Hours are M-F 10pm - 6.30am

QA TechnicianResponsibilities

• Tests and ensures that goods meet manufacturing standards and are free of defects
• Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process
• Compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products

QA Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• 2-4 years of quality experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Experience inspecting finished products, working with tools such as calipers and gauges, and interpreting/following blueprints and engineer drawings
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with operation of automated inspection equipment is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of common quality methodologies, including: APQP, MSA, PPAP, SPC is preferred.
• Ability to work on multiple projects.
• Strong manual and spatial dexterity skills are required.
