Client Response Associate
IN BRIEF
The client response associate is an integral part of providing Diamond Hills clients with a great experience. As a member of the client response team, you will complete RFPs (requests for proposals), other questionnaires, ad hoc requests from both clients and prospective clients and contribute to a great client experience. While working independently on projects, you will also be a part of a collaborative team and contribute to its success driving improved efficiencies. You will interact and collaborate with numerous team members across the firm to understand and communicate our approach to investing, competitive positioning, operations, technology and various policies and processes, all with an aim on emphasizing the benefits of a long-term partnership with Diamond Hill.

WHAT YOULL DO
- Develop a deep understanding of Diamond Hills investment approach, each strategys risk control and return profile, and the role each strategy can play in a client portfolio. Understand and communicate the current position of all firm strategies, recent changes in key holdings or sectors and investment results compared to benchmarks.
- Complete RFPs, RFIs, DDQ, 15c and other ad hoc client requests, and otherwise contribute to a great client experience.
- Conduct peer reviews of questionnaires and provide meaningful constructive feedback and actionable recommendations.
- Work with the team and subject matter experts (SMEs) throughout the firm to create content to respond to new client requests. Proactively develop content for new product, regulatory and company and industry-wide developments.
- Support the maintenance of content in our proposal software (RocketDocs) and advance our technology utilization to create efficiencies and ensure timely, accurate and consistent completion of requests.
- Assist with populating third-party databases.
- Maintain familiarity with various platforms for request submission and adopt new processes as platform technology evolves.
- Maintain and enhance your investment knowledge through continuing education and interaction with the investment team. Complete the CFA Institute Investment Foundations certificate within 12 months of employment.

WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelors degree preferably in finance, investment, economics or related business discipline.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
- 1-3 years of experience in financial or investment industry RFP writing, marketing, investment operations, client reporting or sales a plus.
- Knowledge of RocketDocs or similar proposal/content management software a plus.
- Strong analytical skills ability to analyze data and create charts and tables to support responses to client questions.
