The Department of Corrections is seeking a dynamic and driven Licensed Psychologist Manager to manage our psychological services programs at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Camp Hill. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager for the Department of Corrections, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the psychological services program for SCI Camp Hill. Your work includes coordinating the psychological services program with other disciplines and developing and integrating new policies and procedures for existing programs. You will have the opportunity to participate as a standing member of the clinical review team for suicides and attempted suicides, consult with psychiatry and medical staff, and perform psychological testing and evaluation of inmates. You will also serve as a consultant in the program development and staff training of the Behavioral Management Unit and Special Needs Unit, providing services to both units as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
• This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist; or
• One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, mental retardation or behavioral dysfunction.

• You must have possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.

Other Requirements:

• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
