Role and Responsibilities
Position Overview
The Assistant Manager is responsible for building the best direct to consumer retail experience at the Glendale, CA Samsung Experience Store location. This position will report to the Store Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Meet sales performance through effective sales floor leadership
- Responsible for all sales and profitability
- Analyze, build and execute business improvement plans
- Set and maintain visual merchandising, VMP compliance and displays
- Ensure execution and performance of all value proposition processes and roles
- Manage sales associates and provide feedback on sales and process behaviors
- Responsible for inventory, cycle counts and transfers
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in large big-box or specialty retailer
- 4-6 years of experience leading a team of associates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and ability to adjust as changes occur
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships across cross functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Mobile industry or consumer electronics retail experience strongly preferred

CALIFORNIA/NYC ONLY
The salary range for this role, for candidates based in NYC/California, is expected to be between $103,500.00 and $110,000.00 with a 25% bonus potential. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
