Overview Manage entire underwriting process from initial receipt of application until first funding and manage periodic underwriting review of existing customers. The shift is Monday - Friday approx. 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET. Build initial collateral file to be used during the credit approval process of a new client. Guide and assist sales team in process for collecting necessary information needed to qualify leads. Assist sales team as needed with deal structures and contract terms. Review client and individual applications for completeness of information. Research guarantor financial viability and determine credit worthiness of applicant. This entails review of various financial and search documents such as individual tax returns, Equifax, and personal financial statements. Research client financial viability and credit worthiness including review and write-up of client condition and operating results based on financial information and credit information, as well as existing contracts that may pose conflict of interest if approved by Advance. Research accounts receivable information for aging, concentration and other issues as well as research end debtors for financial viability and credit worthiness based on financial information and credit information available. Review all information included in CAM by participating individuals for completeness and accuracy. Periodically review application, CAM, research materials and other forms used in credit underwriting process for potential enhancements and propose form and reporting changes to management. Assist in development of approval metrics. Manage periodic underwriting review of existing customers, prepare report on current findings and report results to senior management. Other duties as assigned. Thorough and accurate research and reporting of all data. Potential risk factors are identified promptly and communicated to appropriate teams in timely manner. Track record of documentation of new/existing clients shows good analytical skills in identifying and evaluating credit risks. Timely and accurate completion of tasks is maintained in organized, effective, and positive manner. All duties are implemented in a manner to support company policies and procedures and enhance teamwork. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance Understanding of basic finance and credit practices. Requires ability to analyze data and understand business significance. Must be detail oriented, customer focused, proactive and able to work under pressure. Compensation In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $51,500 - $67,281 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
