Solugenix is assisting a client in their search for a Sr. Motor Designer. This is a direct hire opportunity based in Lake Forest, CA.

Qualification:

Proficiency in motor analysis and modeling of induction and PM motors both radial and axial flux.
Proficiency in Multiphysics analysis techniques.
Proficiency in electromagnetic properties of rotating machinery.
Proficiency modeling in Ansys Fluent and related tools.
Experience designing and implementing electromagnetic motor solutions and designs.
Experience optimizing motor designs.
in Electrical Engineering.
Automate workflow to reduce engineering investment in the design cycle.
Experience designing motors for manufacturability.

Responsibilities:

Architecting electromagnetic analysis to maximize performance and efficiency.
Developing detailed designs to provide design feedback and component requirements.
Analyzing simulation and measurement results to correlate models.

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $125,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
