Position Summary
Support compensation and benefits efforts through providing first level benefits support. Act as the primary point of contact for benefits issues resolution.
Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
- Provide first level benefits support through completion of associate benefit enrollment, reconciliation and processing of benefits invoices for payment and answering basic questions regarding associate benefits. Act as the primary point of contact for benefits issues resolution.
2. Provide support in the preparation, execution, and completion of the Open Enrollment process.
3. Distribute required benefits documents according to schedule (SPDs, Medicare Creditable Coverage Letters, etc.)
4. Assist with the preparation and distribution of wellness program materials. Provide support with corporate wellness events.
5. Prepare required benefit related reports for GCCVA as it pertains to audits and billing.
6. Track eligibility, schedule Outlook enrollment meetings and audit GSI benefits enrollment in UKG.
7. Process all HR department invoices and code in Microix.
8. Complete projects related to benefits administration as requested by manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 Years' experience in a related field required.
- No professional certifications are required for this position.
- Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
- Associates in this position will be required to successfully pass both state and federal criminal background checks and sex offender check.
- Ability to operate PC, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills required.
