Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Specialist, Repair sales to promote innovative solutions with customers.
Essential Responsibilities
Prospect existing accounts for repair sales opportunities
Consult with customers on upgrades relating to enhancing safety or reliability
Survey existing accounts for obsolescence – propose, educate, and consult with customer
Responsible for independent site surveying of elevator equipment
Ensure that all mechanic’s leads are proposed within 5 business days
Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers
Follow-up on Proposals until formally dispositioned
Partner with Client Relationship Managers to identify repair leads with existing customer base.
Create detailed capital planners for all customers
Manage opportunities in the CRM pipeline and provide accurate forecasting
Education / Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
Basic Qualifications
Proven track record selling and negotiating service contracts
Comfortable with cold-calling current and future customers with repair opportunities
Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Elevator industry experience a plus
Prior sales experience preferred
