Job Abstract

Overview:

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Plan, direct, and organize the accurate and timely reporting and forecasting of financial information for assigned market center(s).
• Guide the workflow of the market center’s finance organization including staffing, policy compliance, internal/external customer service, and administrative functions.
• Drive contract compliance, billing accuracy, and timely/comprehensive collection of outstanding A/R balances.
• Maintain proper internal controls and enforcement of AUS policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with and support the General Manager and other market center management on operational and financial reviews/projects.
• Train, develop, and motivate staff.
• Research and resolve accounting and finance issues.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Expert knowledge of accounting standards, practices, and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience preparing forecasts, controlling costs and maximizing profits, and producing accurate reports.
• Strong analytical and process management skills.
• MS Office knowledge, with proficiency in Excel essential.
• Hyperion and Oracle experience preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of five years progressively responsible experience in accounting and supervision.
• Previous experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collections.
• Prior experience in a Controller position in a plant environment preferred.

Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel (15%-30%).

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.

Compensation:

• The salary that Vestis reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $85,000-$100,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
