Overview:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and ensure that our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and other quality-related documents, as well as conducting internal and external audits, investigations, and inspections. You will also provide training and guidance to other staff members on quality policies and procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and other quality-related documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure that all quality records are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Conduct internal and external audits, investigations, and inspections to verify the effectiveness of the quality system and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present audit reports, findings, and corrective actions to management and customers.
- Provide training and guidance to other staff members on quality policies and procedures, and ensure that they are followed and implemented correctly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance the quality and efficiency of the products and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest quality standards, regulations, and best practices in the biotechnology/pharmaceuticals industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance in the biotechnology/pharmaceuticals industry.
- Knowledge and experience in deviation, CAPA, change control, and other quality-related processes and tools.
- Familiarity with FDA, EMA, ISO, and other relevant quality standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other quality software applications.
