Job Purpose
Canoo has needs for a qualified Janitorial Associate to continually monitor cleanliness of the production and office areas. The Associate will perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and/or codes.
Responsibilities (80s of the Position)
- Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of entire facility and office areas.
- Follow plant safety and environmental policies and keep work areas clean and orderly.
- Interact with and support Manufacturing Associates within assigned production areas.
- Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings.
- All other duties as required to support business needs.
- Overtime may be required.
Required Experience
- Must be able to satisfactorily complete the Canoo hiring process requirements which include comprehensive assessments and a background check.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision and other personnel with the ability to create clear technical instructions.
- Prefer Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate self-initiative.
- Must be flexible to training, coaching, projects, and change as needed.
Physical Requirements for Physical Positions
While performing the duties of this job, employees may be required to lift up to 25 or more pounds, stand, sit, bend/stoop, or operate office equipment or machinery
