Description
This position will work closely with department leaders to help maintain and execute operational reporting for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. The SORA will work to identify opportunities to drive sales performance while ensuring the understanding of reporting methods and metrics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain routine and basic operational reporting to measure the performance of the sales force
Summarize analysis findings and provide general guidance and recommendations to department leaders
Update key data stores when changes occur in the sales force
Update and report on key initiatives to drive the sales force
Assist with sales pipeline analysis and reviews
Identify areas of opportunity for regional sales leaders
Perform analysis of KPIs to identify and analyze key trends in the sales pipeline
Document reporting methods and KPI methodology
Assist with the reporting and analysis of segmentation, territory optimization and other financial data
Work as a business partner to communicate and translate sales results into reporting and analysis that tells a story offering guidance on basic strategies to other departments
Respond to basic or routine inquiries from others in sales or companywide personnel regarding sales results or other ad hoc request
Assist with projects with Business Intelligence and other departments
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree
Experience:
1+ years of experience in the areas of sales operations, marketing operations, financial planning and analysis, operational reporting, or IT
Skills/Abilities:
Basic Excel skills in areas such as Index Match, logic statements, v-lookups, Power Pivot, data cleansing, VBA
Basic knowledge of relational databases
High attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Power Point
Strong verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Preferred degree in areas of quantitative business or science fields, such as math, statistics, economics, finance, accounting, MIS, computer science, physics, biology, or similar fields
Experience:
Previous experience with a CRM
