You Have:
- 4+ years of experience with Splunk engineering, administration, deployment, and maintenance for a large-scale network environment
- 2+ years of experience in a cybersecurity or IT role
- Experience creating and maintaining Splunk dashboards
- Experience engaging clients and stakeholders to understand their problems and recommend solutions, and interacting with customers to provide configuration and optimization guidance in Splunk
- Experience with Linux and Windows environments, and using scripting languages to automate tasks and manipulate data
- Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging, and Splunk SPL, REGEX, and custom query and search design
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers, apply expertise of enterprise applications, and create, modify, and troubleshoot data queries through various data sources
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or an IT, cybersecurity, or computer science field
- Splunk Enterprise Security Administrator certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience performing systems testing, including auto scaling configurations
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment
- Experience with COTS application support
- Experience with data life cycle support
- Experience with network security, system security, and supporting security information and event management (SIEM)
- Experience with infrastructure management and support and system administration in Windows and UNIX environments
- Experience with security tools, including Firewall, IDS, Active Directory, Tenable Security Center, HBSS/Trellix, and RedSeal
- Splunk Architect Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
