The Role in Brief:
Paid Social Media Strategist, Enroll360
The Paid Social Media Strategist manages our partners’ media investment in paid social campaigns while working alongside internal teams to support overall enrollment goals. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with other Enrollment Services campaign objectives. You will interact regularly with partners, providing ongoing reporting, analysis, and present creative and ad optimization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to create and assist team members with content and ad creative development, as well as be a well-rounded digital expert with experience in multiple social media platforms.
This hire may be based in Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C.
Position Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution and Deployment
- Develop creative materials, including ad copy, design, and motion for digital ads, based on partners’ branding and marketing strategies
- Create, set up, and maintain advanced paid social campaigns across various platforms
- Monitor and optimize media budgets across all digital platforms; recommend estimated budget and bid strategies required for specific partners
- Deploy systematic A/B testing and monitor results
- Manage understanding of digital products and services of significant scope and complexity
- Identify trends, insights, and innovations in the industry; stay abreast of our competitors’ and partners’ evolving digital strategies
- Support onsite and/or offsite presentations to educate partners and colleagues on services/best practices
Strategy & Reporting
- Work with marketing leadership and department team members to identify opportunities for growth and incremental opportunities for our partners
- Proactively keep abreast of assigned partners' marketing and media campaigns and make recommendations to optimize or makes changes where appropriate
- Create and recommend comprehensive digital marketing plans for each partner with the ability to adapt quickly to budget and time in field constraints
Team Communication
- Communicate campaign-related issues, changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during deployment; facilitate problem resolution with appropriate parties
- Lead and work with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
- Work with team to implement innovative solutions to scale and automate campaign management processes
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years' digital marketing experience
- Experience developing, executing, and managing paid social campaigns
- Immense knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, including professional experience using design software (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects)
- Basic understanding of key metrics in Google Analytics or other web analytics software
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with external partners regarding performance of campaigns
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
Ideal Qualifications:
- Experience building comprehensive digital marketing strategies for various social media platforms
- Previous agency experience or related experience; this role manages more than 25 partners at any given time
- Partner/account management experience
- Experience with developing and executing digital marketing campaigns focused on lead generation
- Deep understanding of web analytics and tracking
- Interest in developing digital attribution strategy through use of tag management solutions (Google Tag Manager, etc.)
- Ability to scope and propose digital marketing media investments and time in field recommendations
- Familiarity or experience with online project management software (Workfront preferred)
- Digital platform certifications
- Experience with marketing automation software

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $53,000 - $60,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
