This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 4 - 6 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 4:30pm EST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

- Update claim information based on research and communication from member or provider
- Complete necessary adjustments to claims and ensures the proper benefits are applied to each claim
- Communicate extensively with members and providers electronically regarding adjustments to resolve claims errors/issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of Experience with UNET claims
- Experience with Microsoft Word (creating / updating documents / letters, and letter formatting) and Microsoft Outlook (creating / sending emails, and calendar invites)
- Working knowledge with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications (including comfort using shortcuts and demands)
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- Ability to work full-time including the flexibility to work occasional overtime given the business need
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Reside within the state of New York
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this is $16.54 - $32.55 per hour.
