Social Media Coordinator Job Summary:
Sparks Group is looking for a detail oriented, self-starting Social Media Coordinator to join a well-known Association in Washington, DC. You will be tasked with executing results-driven social media strategies and develop and curating engaging content for social media platforms. You will also assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities:
Executes a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance the association's online presence and reach.
Creates engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that align with the association's goals and resonate with our target audience.
Designs posts through Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva to sustain readers' curiosity and create buzz around new initiatives.
Engages with followers, responds to comments and messages, and foster meaningful interactions within our online community.
Collaborates with Manager, Marketing to ensure alignment between social media efforts and overall association objectives.
Tracks and analyzes social media metrics and performance to measure effectiveness of various industry campaigns and inform future strategies.
Assists Marketing Manager as needed with email marketing campaigns and marketing strategy for industry campaigns.
Other duties as assigned.
Social Media Coordinator Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
1+ years working experience in digital marketing, Association experience preferred.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
Experience with marketing automation systems and content management systems such as HubSpot and/or Monday.com.
Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools.
Working knowledge of ad serving tools.
Ability to meet deadlines while demonstrating professionalism under pressure.
Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
Ability to take direction and provide edits in a timely manner to produce accurate work.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail and the desire to learn.
