Job Abstract

We are seeking a knowledgeable, dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher for 4th – 8th grade students. Responsibilities include curriculum development, immersive Spanish language instruction, data-driven instruction, classroom management, grade and behavior reporting, and communication and collaboration with parents, students and colleagues. The desired candidate will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel loved and respected.

This is a part-time job. Weekly teaching and prep hours are approximately 15 to 18 over the course of 2 to 3 days.

? Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or a related field
? Valid teaching certification/license preferred
? Previous experience teaching to elementary/junior high students
? Strong mastery of the Spanish language in both written and verbal form
? Strong, practicing Catholic

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
