Job Description
Analyze architectural and engineering drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates for bidding purposes.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather and evaluate project specifications and requirements.
Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanSwift) to prepare comprehensive estimates and proposals.
Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets without compromising quality.
Present estimates and proposals to clients, and participate in negotiations to secure contracts.
Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction phase, providing ongoing support as needed.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction projects, particularly in Manhattan, New York.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and labor costs.
Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a high attention to detail.
Effective communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
