ICI Services is currently searching for qualified personnel to fill the position of Administrative Assistant at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Port Hueneme, CA. Position/Job Description:

General Tasking Description:

• Provide administrative support to a Department, Division, or Branch team at NSWC Port Hueneme. In a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the office. Works independently, receiving a minimum of detailed guidance. Duties may include any or all of the following:
• Follow organizational guidance and standard operating procedures to perform varied clerical and administrative duties.
• Perform general secretarial duties, including filing, phone call/reception support, scheduling appointments, and making travel arrangements.
• Support customer management and line personal with general office management responsibilities in the areas of budget, personnel, and payroll
• Perform research and provide support in the development of internal/external action items and other program documentation.
• Interface with other NSWC Port Hueneme organizations, such as facilities, safety, security, IT, etc. to facilitate customer requirements.
• Assist with special assignments, as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in support of a Department of Defense organization. Prior experience at NSWC Port Hueneme is a plus.
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
• Other highly desired attributes include experience in a customer service-based environment; the ability to multi-task; and exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Educational & Certification Requirements:

• Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma or GED
