Job Abstract

Our client, a prominent corporate retail organization located in Columbia, MD, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team. Location: Columbia, MD

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay: $19-$21/hourly based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide information about products, services, and policies to customers.
• Resolve customer complaints by determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, and following up to ensure resolution.
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain customer records by updating account information.
• Handle customer feedback and escalate issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar customer service role.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to maintain composure in a variety of settings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
