RWJBarnabas Corporate Paralegal/Contract Administrator

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced corporate paralegal or contract administrator to become a member of our growing team of legal professionals. This position is a high profile growth opportunity with immediate responsibility.

The successful applicant will:

• Prepare, negotiate, and review a broad range of contracts and addendums including nondisclosure, employment, supply chain, clinical trial, and information technology agreements.
• Draft pleadings and provide support related to guardianship applications.
• Prepare, file and track regulatory submissions including professional Board, OSHA, and charitable registration filings.
• Organize, monitor and process property tax appeals.
• Implement and maintain a contract tracking system for the Department.
• Assist with discovery (including eDiscovery) matters.
• Provide other support as needed for the attorneys in the Legal Department.
• Compliance with the law and attention to detail.

Education & Qualifications:

• Two or four year college degree. Paralegal and/or Contract Administrator certificate preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a large law firm or corporate position drafting and reviewing contracts and addendums and/or preparing litigation pleadings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated experience negotiating contracts and interacting with attorneys.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deliverables.
