AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to be located in Mountville, PA. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in the planning and implementation of new product launches and supporting marketing initiatives for the national sales accounts business, sales team and retail customer channel. Occasional travel may be required (~10% average with some months up to 30%)
JOB DUTIES:
Fulfill daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
Develop a strong understanding of product offerings and lead the implementation of adding new products to retail environments
Oversee the planning, coordination and execution of various retail, big-box, and home center merchandising activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Support marketing managers in managing projects and workload
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and messaging
Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop creative assets, including packaging, point-of-sale materials, and advertising content
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize future launches.
Communicate directly with clients and suppliers or agencies to encourage trusting relationships
Track department spend and assist with quoting and merchandising forecasting
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
1-2 years of experience in marketing, product development, communications or other related field
Understanding of home center, big-box, or national accounts go-to-market strategies
Ability to develop feature and benefit product differentiators and tell a product story
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to present solutions and recommendations clearly and concisely
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational, project management, and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow established policies and procedures
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to Sales team needs
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and with outside suppliers
