Job Abstract

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates Inc., an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with George Washington University, is seeking candidates for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty appointment in the Department of Radiology. Rank (Instructor or Assistant Professor) and salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include performing vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures; interpreting vascular imaging; providing on-call coverage for emergency procedures after hours and on weekends; participating in multidisciplinary clinical research; collaborating with our referring clinical colleagues and administrative partners; assisting with administrative functions of the department; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; and maintaining an active research program.

Applicants must be ABR eligible or certified and should have completed a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship, or possess a comparable experience in all facets of Vascular and Interventional Imaging, by the time of appointment. Demonstrable academic accomplishments (scholarly activity and/or innovative teaching) and eligibility for medical licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment are also required.
