Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.
Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
Have familiarity with relational database concepts and client-server concepts.
Perform a variety of complicated tasks across workstreams.
Utilize a wide degree of creativity and latitude to problem solve.
Capture stakeholder and SME feedback on Performance Measures and support functional requirement-gathering for data visualizations.
Support the office in DON annual reporting to DoD, including managing its stakeholders.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the available knowledge management platforms in the Department of the Navy (DON) and OPNAV (e.g., Flank Speed, MSFT SharePoint, MS Teams, Power BI); provide recommendations for knowledge management processes.
Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications:
Understanding of DoD organization(s)—preferably Navy—structure, leadership, culture, and how to affect change in this environment.
Comfortable working with senior leaders and demonstrated writing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to produce briefing slides, metric charts, program schedules, and organizational charts.
Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Teams.
Demonstrated analytical experience in a client environment.
Education and Experience: This position requires a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active SECRET security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Location: Work is performed on government site at the Pentagon and via telework. Employees will work in close proximity with Government personnel.
Physical Requirements: In addition to the skills and qualifications mentioned above, candidates must, at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to use stairs without assistance
Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers
Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, carry, reach, kneel, crouch, bend and climb a step stool/ladder
