CNC Programmer

Pay Rate
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour ($45,670-$49,940 average yearly income)

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

CNC Programmer Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precise machining operations.
Optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with engineers and production team to improve manufacturing processes.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.

CNC Programmer Qualifications and Requirements

Perform tasks in alignment with SPEC's Core Values and Mission.
Adhere to work instructions, policies, and quality standards.
Knowledgeable about disaster plans and safety procedures.
Project a positive image of SPEC in all interactions.
Assist customers and coworkers following established protocols.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Proficient in CNC Programming; familiar with shop math and blueprint reading.
Regulatory: Capable of obtaining and maintaining NRC clearance.
Training/Certification: Willingness to acquire necessary certifications.
