Your team responsibilities
You will join an MSCI team that works on Private Asset investment solutions for global clients who are Asset Owners or Private Asset Managers. Your role is to make and execute a strategy for Private Credit and Private Equity solutions and managers. You will collaborate with the business stakeholders to understand client needs and deliver profitable solutions. You will work with the Technology and Data team to build solutions from your requirements.

Your key responsibilities
· Set and share the vision, strategy, competitive positioning and roadmap for providing essential private credit and private equity solutions to private asset managers (GPs), using existing assets of MSCI.
· Analyze the private credit market (and private equity market), including data and analytics solutions providers and opportunities, and find out where MSCI could offer unique and mission-critical solutions.
· With client coverage and marketing, identify and evaluate client needs and develop value propositions and business plans/cases for MSCI solutions.
· Review and improve service delivery and cost, to ensure we deliver solutions in an efficient, scalable and profitable manner.
· Propose pricing structure and approve special pricing where necessary.
· Provide product expertise in key client meetings, lead client consultations to gather critical feedback from MSCI clients and stakeholders and present the product roadmap in client calls and meetings.
· Support our client facing organization by responding to questions from MSCI client coverage related to existing product features, functionality, pricing and licensing; assisting with RFPs; assisting with client communications; and helping to organize periodic training sessions for coverage.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
· Education: An ideal candidate will hold a degree in a technical field; for example, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration or the equivalent in experience.
· Minimum 15 years of experience in product management, preferably in the financial services industry focused on private assets.
· Deep knowledge and understanding of the private credit and/or private equity investment process and market participants, including general partners.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex data concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Proven track record of delivering private asset solutions products and projects that meet or exceed the business expectations and objectives.
