Web, Social Media & Graphic Design: Responsibilities: Update alums and room reservations pages on the website. Manage the Honors College LinkedIn page, including regular updates and engagement. Create graphics for team events, announcements, and promotions as needed. Additional tasks may include designing event promotional materials, creating social media content, and ensuring brand consistency across all digital platforms.
Events & Room Reservations Responsibilities: Manage Ad Astra room reservations system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in scheduling. Coordinate catering for events, including menu selection, ordering, and delivery. Handle receipts and purchases related to event planning and execution. Additional tasks may include coordinating event logistics, such as seating arrangements, equipment setup, and troubleshooting on-site during events.
Alumni & Advancement Responsibilities: Create and distribute the Alumni Newsletter, featuring updates, achievements, and upcoming events. Manage the online store platform, including inventory management, order processing, and customer service. Maintain donor relations by managing online platforms, acknowledging donations, and providing updates on the impact of contributions. Prepare agendas and minutes for Honors College Advisory Board (HCAB) meetings. Additional tasks may include organizing alum events, coordinating fundraising campaigns, and cultivating relationships with donors.
Communications and Special Projects Responsibilities: Support other team members with communication needs, such as drafting emails, creating presentations, and proofreading documents. Work on special projects assigned by the director, which may involve research, data analysis, or strategic planning. Assist in coordinating large-scale events or initiatives that require cross-departmental collaboration. Handle miscellaneous tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the Honors College. Additional tasks may include managing databases, conducting surveys, and preparing reports.
